Information and purpose

When you contact us or place an order, you may provide your name, business and contact details, billing and delivery details, garment sizes, quantities, logo files and personalisation instructions. We use these details to handle your enquiry and the order, artwork approval, payment and delivery you request. Please only submit information and artwork you are authorised to share.

Online store and service providers

To manage and fulfil orders, we use ecommerce and customer relationship/order-management software, artwork-design software, digitising services, DTF transfer production services, and postal or freight delivery services. Our customer relationship/order-management system holds customer details entered by us. For artwork preparation and transfer production, we provide visual logo files rather than separately supplying customer contact details. A logo may itself contain a person’s name or contact information, so please consider what is included in artwork you provide. Postal or freight services receive details needed for delivery.

Our online-store platform is Shopify. Information submitted through our store is processed using its services. Shopify explains its collection and use of shopping, transaction and device information in its Consumer Privacy Policy: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy/consumers . Its privacy controls are available at https://privacy.shopify.com/en/ .

International processing

Some of the software services we use operate internationally, so information processed through those services may be handled outside Australia. Our order-management software provider's published policy describes hosting in Australia and the United States; this does not specify the location of every customer record. Our artwork-software provider describes international processing, including the United States and India, although handling depends on the software and online features used. Visual logo files may also be supplied to overseas artwork-service providers. We do not separately provide customer contact details to those providers; however, information appearing within a logo can travel with the file.

Artwork

We use artwork and personalisation details to prepare your requested workwear. We keep artwork on file for repeat orders unless you ask us not to retain it. You can identify existing artwork using your previous order number or business name. To ask us not to retain artwork, email hello@stepupworkwear.com and identify the relevant file or order. An artwork-removal request is separate from any transaction records we need to keep to meet legal obligations or resolve an order issue.

Access, correction and concerns

Email hello@stepupworkwear.com to request access to or correction of your information, or raise a privacy concern. Include enough information to identify your enquiry or order. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Please do not send payment-card details or identity documents by email unless an appropriate, necessary method has been explained. We will review your request or complaint, ask for further information where needed, and respond with the outcome and any available next steps.
